My Logistics Career Journey started in 1998 Managing Project’s and Trialling a remote Stock Facility, before moving into the World of 3PL and Warehouse Mgt Systems. In the last 19 Years I’ve managed Logistics & Supply Chains at a number of different Multi Channel Retailers across different sectors.
Tell me a little bit about your role at Signet Jewellers?
I lead Signet UK Supply Chain, QC, Logistics & Jewellery & Watch Repair Workshops. I’m the strategic driving force for Operational Excellence, Empowering, Driving & championing Signet’s Core Values. I work across a number of functions with our Leadership Team aligning our Operational Capability & Capacity to deliver our growth objectives.
What supply chain related topics are keeping you up at night right now?
Intake Forecasting & Vendor Dispatch Frequency – We have to navigate some narrowing of capacity on the Intake Side of our Supply Chain which risks delays, stock availability and DC Capacity moving into peak. We are working closely with Internal Stakeholders to on improving our forecasting accuracy for our service partners to increase capacity.

I’ll be talking about Resilience in Supply Chains, some of the day to day Labour pressures V’s stricter Service Level Expectations plus some insights into our current automation ambitions
